Chris Palmer leaves the Giants

According to Giants.com, Chris Palmer is leaving his position as QB coach for the Gmen.

This is a tough loss since Eli has really played much better football with Palmer in his back pocket. Palmer came on in 2007 and helped Eli slap around CB’s in the playoffs and deliver the Super Bowl.  Hopefully we don’t see Eli falling backwards and throwing ducks off his back foot this coming season.

Profootballtalk reports that Palmer is becoming the head coach of the UFL’s NY franchise.  Will he be more successful than with the Browns? Is Tim Couch available?  Will he take Rhett Bomar?!
