Vince Lombardi – You talkin’ to me?

Listen Gifford…never rat on your friends and always keep your mouth shut.

Robert DeNiro, who stopped making quality movies a while back in order to collect giant bags of cash in return for his dignity, has supposedly signed on to play NFL legend Vince Lombardi. Lombardi began his NFL career as an assistant coach (OC) for the Gmen in 1954.  He was a Fordham classmate of Wellington Mara, and was an habitual couch crasher.  Whether he made eggs in the morning in his boxers remains to be seen.

Well Lombardi went on do some other things of much lesser importance, namely win some new fangled Super Bowls and get some insignificant trophy named in his honor. (Lets not forget the rest stop in Jersey)

Since its obvious that the Giants time of success was clearly the high point of the barely known Lombardi’s life…we thought it would be a good exercise to see who would play some other members of the 1956 Championship team.

Don Draper as Tom Landry. Its pretty clear. What do you mean Draper’s not his real name?

Aaron Eckhart as Frank Gifford: Cleft chins belong together. Miss Piggy plays Kathie Lee

Laurence Fishburne as Rosey Grier:  Grier is the man who subdued Sirhan Sirhan after RFK was killed. Only Fishburne can act that badass

Kevin Arnold’s dad as Jim Lee Howell:  Mr. Arnold can control wayward young men.
